Life of a Couch Potato

So many scary things lurk on the other side of your door. Bugs, sun, demons, ghosts, germs, traffic, bad smells, rich people, acne, ways to die and diseases. Doesn’t it just sound easier to stay at home?

In today’s society, it has become increasingly more pleasing to sit at home and order or buy whatever you want. As technology advances, buying, selling, working, books, social life and eating can be done by a click of a button on your cellphone or home computer device. So where do we start?

You need clothes? Well where do you want them from? Almost every clothing store has a website that delivers or offers shipping directly to your front doorstep, so to avoid those germs, you just open your door quick and slam it shut then you have a cute outfit for nobody to see because you’re not going outside. Amazon, Wayfair, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Canadian Tire, Loblaws, all deliver anything from medications to clothes to furniture. How do you buy these things you ask? It is possible to work from home for your income. A couple of career choices are customer service representative which brings in 29 to 30k a year, account manager, doing surveys, work for Staples, online English teacher for children (26 dollars an hour) data entry and so much more. This link has a top 100 list of places that you may be able to work from home with.

You can even eat from home with companies like Hello Fresh, Chef’s Plate and Taco Bell. Uber eats or Skip the Dishes can also deliver any food that you want depending on your location. Hot, warm delivery to your front doorstep, doesn’t that just sound amazing? Do you not feel like cleaning up after that? There are many maid company services that will come to your house so you barely have to lift a finger to clean.

To sum all of this up, make sure you have a big comfy couch to lean on and eat off of. If not, try Leon’s.
